Building the DeafBlind Potter School:

My Vision of Empowerment

As I embark on this journey, my vision for the DeafBlind Potter School is clear: to create a space where individuals with disabilities can learn the art of pottery, develop their skills, and build thriving brands around their unique talents. Here’s a detailed overview of the steps I’m taking to turn this vision into reality.

1. Raising Awareness and Funds

I’m starting by launching a comprehensive training program on YouTube and Rumble. Through these platforms, I’m sharing my expertise in pottery while also spreading awareness about my mission and the importance of supporting individuals with disabilities. My goal is to rally support and raise the necessary funds to establish a physical studio for the DeafBlind Potter School.

2. Building a Community

Important to my vision is the creation of a vibrant and supportive community around the DeafBlind Potter brand and the school. I understand the power of collaboration and connection in fostering empowerment, which is why I’m actively engaging with my audience, building a following, and cultivating a sense of belonging among my supporters.

3. Private Member Group

In addition to building my online presence, I’m developing plans for a private member group dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities on their pottery journey. This group will serve as a place for testing and refining pottery pieces, as well as exploring marketing strategies to promote and sell each students work. By involving the private member group, ensures the students brand becomes a success as they go through the school.

4. Establishing a Brick-and-Mortar Studio

To provide hands-on experience and personalized support to our students, I’m committed to establishing a brick-and-mortar studio. This physical place will serve as a hub for creativity and learning, equipped with the tools and resources needed to nurture our students’ talents. Here, they’ll have access to private classes, beginner pottery workshops, and an art therapy program designed to help them overcome challenges and unleash their full potential.

5. Ensuring Sustainability and Impact

Beyond providing pottery classes, our brick-and-mortar studio will also serve as a source of revenue to cover overhead costs and sustain our operations. By offering private classes and art therapy programs, we not only generate income but also ensure that our place remains accessible and inclusive to all, regardless of their ability or background.

In essence, the DeafBlind Potter School is more than just a dream—it’s a symbol of hope, encouragement, and perseverance. Together, with the support of our community, I’m not just building a school; I’m building an opportunity where everyone can thrive and live beyond their challenges.
